Position Summary:
The host is the first and last impression of the restaurant. This role manages guest flow, sets the tone for hospitality, and ensures smooth seating and communication between the front and back of house.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet every guest promptly with a warm, professional attitude.
- Manage wait lists and quote accurate wait times.
- Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections and rotation.
- Answer phones and handle to-go orders accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area.
- Assist with light bussing and table resets during peak times.
- Communicate guest needs, large parties, and special requests to management and staff.

- Clear, confident communication with guests and team.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
- Ability to stay composed in high-volume situations.
- Team-first mindset—support servers, bartenders, and management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
